I have been a huge lover of music my whole life. I have played piano for 15 years and have a degree in Music. As a child, my favourite time of the week was my piano lesson, as I felt I could fully be myself! I aim to pass on my passion and enthusiasm for the piano and music to my students, offering a safe, welcoming space to all ages. My goal is for every student to leave their lesson happy and content with any progress they have made. If my students are happy, then I’m happy!

Stephen has a long-standing passion for music, and a drive to continuously try to be a better musician. He is a self-taught guitarist that was influenced by a steady influx of artists and styles. This expanded his musical tastes, which helped his technical facility grow and acquire a taste for playing other instruments.
After 16 years of playing in bands, touring, and session work, he attended music college to study in depth, music theory, music teaching and more advanced guitar techniques, and keyboard/piano.
Upon graduating, Stephen began to put his 20+ years’ experience into action teaching musicians of all ages and abilities. Stephen’s teaching approach is entirely student centric. Their goals, well-being, enjoyment and musical tastes are of paramount importance.
His ethos in both teaching and learning is that a relaxed, safe, encouraging and happy learning environment are key to ensure each student realises their full potential.
Every student is different, and Stephen makes sure to tailor his lessons to suit the needs of each individual, and aims to equip students with all the tools they will require to continue to learn.
